In their second year, Milton 66 has livened up Broad Street with their attractive streetscape and gatherings on “the Porch,” while offering craft beer and local wines and snacks. Popular food trucks and local bands are regularly scheduled. Open Wednesday-Friday 3-9, Saturday 1-9 and Sunday 1-8. Proprietors Burton Edwards and Barry Nichols, along with Jacob and Nancy Keeler. Aunt Millie’s Pizza

Famous this side of Raleigh for pizza and 9-scoop banana splits. Featured on WRAL’s Tar Heel Traveler. Open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. Closed Sundays. Proprietor Gwen McGuire.

Carolina Vintage Co.

The absolute best in repurposed vintage furniture, jewelry, home decor and antique treasures. Proprietor Anthony Hearn, open Friday afternoons and Saturdays. 

Milton Studio Art Gallery

Proprietor and artist Shirley Cadmus stocks a vast array of beautiful art, pottery, jewelry and textiles by over 70 NC and Virginia artists. Check out Shirley’s new 3-D pen medium. Open Friday and Saturday 11-5 and Sundays 1-5.

Milltown Eatery & Saloon

Feel-good atmosphere serving delicious American/bistro cuisine. Offering dinner Wednesday through Saturday. Entree’ selection posted on Facebook daily. Proprietors Alex Sharp and Anthony Hearn. Milton General Store

No longer offering mercantile items but rather antique furniture, dishware, books and other items from yesteryear. The store itself is a delightful hallmark from the past. Open weekends. Proprietors Sally Wallace and Rebekah Kegerreis. Check out their Facebook page for more details.

Samanthas Hometown Grill

Set in the 1950s-era diner and mechanic shop, Samantha McCraw continues the Milton tradition location with hot dogs and burgers, (fried bologna sandwich!) as well as regular hometown cooking buffets. She is usually the only Milton business open on Mondays. If you want to hear Town news with local reviews, much like Floyd’s Barber Shop, this is the place to hang out. Closed Thursdays and Sundays. All in the Family Grill

All in the Family truly means all in the family here! Taking their love of cooking to new heights in their first year. since opening in May 2024. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, cafeteria style, along with staples of burgers and hot dogs. Their parking lot stays full, and so do their happy customers. Come be a part of their family.
